$10.57 billion in ecommerce sales during the 2009 holiday season to date, this represents a 3% increase over the representing days last year. Black Friday is also no longer for “brick and mortar” retailers as online retail sales were an astounding $595 million, representing an 11% increase over Black Friday 2008.

Despite a downturn in the economy, ComScore reports that online sales on Black Friday were roughly flat this year at $534 million, compared to $531 million in 2007.
